SNELL, Alan Thomas (Mātua Alan). Unexpectedly passed away at home on Wednesday, 18th March 2026, aged 72 years. Devoted, and much loved father of Mary, whom he adored.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Hi there, Murray and I wish to leave a message for Allan.
We had more to do with Alan back in the late 1980’s/early 1990’s. We mostly caught up with Alan at our local district parties. That being in Te Pahu. Our memory of Alan was a gentle soft spoken man who always had so much love in his eyes and the best listening ear. We enjoyed many long conversations with him. We were impressed with his knowledge and his Faith. We also remember him telling us about his daughter when she was very small. We could see his enjoyed being a parent to her and was so proud to be a Father.
Unfortunately we haven’t seen Alan for many years.
