19 January 1969 – 31 July 2026
Passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital, aged 57 years. Beloved and treasured mother of Le’Arne, Skye and Jaegar. Cherished Nana of Tuscon.
Loved eldest daughter of Tokomauri Hemara-Wahanui and Maude Ngapeka Walker. Much loved sister of Rona, Georgina, Bronwyn, Rangi, Thomas and Kylie-Rae. A dearly loved aunty, grand-aunty, niece, cousin and friend to many.

Kua hinga te Māreikura, te mātāmua o te whānau.
E te tau, haere ki tērā wāhi kāhore he mamae. Haere me tūtaki anō ki tō tuahine aroha, ki a Georgina. Kāore e kore ko ia te tangata tuatahi ka pōhiri i a koe kei tua i te ārai. Haere ki ō tātou tūpuna, ki ngā ringa aroha o tō tātou Matua i te Rangi, ki reira te rangimārie mutunga kore. Haere, haere, haere atu rā. Ka tūtaki anō ā te wā. Moe mai rā i runga i te rangimārie.

    Although I never had the privilege of meeting you, I know how deeply you were loved by your whānau. My heartfelt condolences to Skye, Learne, Jaegar, and all of your family.
