We were very sorry to hear of Maxine’s recent passing. We have great memories of times shared with Maxine, and Jim, starting when we met you both while you were travelling in your 5th-wheeler and latterly at your home in Westport before you moved back to the North Island. She was a very special lady and we are thinking of you all, especially today. Safe journey Maxine.
Love from Michelle (nee Coles) and Ben Bethell

Dear Family of Maxine you have lost a very
Lovely woman. She was a warm and understanding friend to me and for those reasons she will stay in my memory as I know she will be a precious part of your memories as life carries on without her there.
    Loving thoughts are with you.
    Especially you Jim.

    Dear Maxine
Istill can not believe you have passed away. For over 50 years,
you were a dear friend to us and treating us as if we were your own family. We still remember the fun time we spent together in NZ,
and those memories will always stay with us.
We shall never forget the happy days we shared.
Rest in peace, our dear friend Maxine.
    Thank you so very much.
