COPELAND, Paul. Passed away suddenly at Waikato Hospital on Thursday 25th January, with his family by his side, after a short illness. Fantastic Dad of Wayne, Rhonda and Neil. Loved Grandad-Pop. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ian and Dawn and Maureen and Bob. A friend to many.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at The Te Awamutu RSA, 381 Alexandra Street, Te Awamutu on Friday 2nd February at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation. All communications to The Copeland Family, c/- 262 Ohaupo Road, Te Awamutu 3800.

I will always remember Paul as the kindest man who loved to help, he even chopped a load of wood for us last time he visited. The distance made it hard to see him, but he will remain in our hearts forever. Paul, I hope the beers are cold and the fish are biting.
I am so utterly grateful to have been able to see Poppy Paul a year ago. He taught me so much about Mokau and our history. I will always remember walking on the black sand with him. He found the walk easy while I was huffing and puffing the whole time! I love how I have truely happy memories of Poppy Paul.
