TWYFORD, Paula (nee Brooky). Passed away suddenly, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, 28th February 2026, aged 73 years. Cherished wife of Arthur. Treasured Mum and Mother-in-law of Anna & Craig Watkinson, Lisa & Adrian Sage, and Dave & Rach Brooky. Adored and super fun Nana to Max, Olivia, Jordan, Fletcher, Carlo, Hugo, and Jonny.
In accordance with Paula’s wishes, a private family farewell has been held. A celebration of her life will be held at the Te Awamutu Bowling Club, Bank Street, Te Awamutu, on Saturday the 7th of March 2026 at 2pm. I’m so saddened by the news of Paula’s passing. Paula was full of life, so much fun, and one of the kindest people I’ve ever known.
Paula and I had a connection through our love of animals and through her loving and wonderful family. I will always remember her kind heart, her love of life, her wonderful sense of humour, and her infectious laugh.
What a privilege it was for you to have had her as a Mum and Nana. She will be so sadly missed by you all, and my heart goes out to you at this difficult time.
