What a beautiful memorial service for Sharni. What a precious woman. She poured out her life so much and left such a testimony.
Sharni, even thou we didn’t see much of each other over the last few years, I still treasured the years we hung out, watching our babies grow up etc. One of my fav memories is hearing about how you made a beautiful meal for your family, and not understanding why it was bubbling.. until you realized you had used dish liquid instead of cooking oil!
I hope heaven is an glorious as we read.. and that you were welcomed so fiercely. I have been imagining the massive Ryan (Ryan Ryan as bold as a lion) hug you would have recieved, and you just laughing with such joy. And all the other loved ones gone before you.
You were such a bright light, so kind and caring. Never a mean word to say about anyone – that is definitely something to strive for.
I’m so so happy you got the title Lollie, and got to meet little Beau.
So long Miss Sharni, your smile, kindness and legacy will live on.
Jamie, words are not even begin to express how it must feel to lose your other half. But know we are always here for you and the family. Xxxx
I hope it’s beautiful in heaven. I hope it smells like home and feels like every hug you ever gave. I hope you see the love you left behind shining in places you once stood. I hope it’s beautiful in heaven because that’s what you deserve. Moe mai rā Sharni you will be missed dearly – Karen, Dominick & Charlene.
Gutted to hear of the early passing of Sharni. She was such a smart ,bright caring person even as a child. The Walsh family watched her growing up – her & her sisters became part of our family dearly loved & cherised by Grandma & GaGa Walsh & family. Unfortunately we slowly lost contact due to life’s circumstances but was never forgotten.
Have no words but do send our deepest, heartfelt & sincere condolences -from Pauline, Johanna Gordon & his family -to all her extended family, friends but especially to her husband & loving children plus her loving sisters💘💛
Rest in peace Sharni. So sad to read of your passing. Condolences to your family . We remember you swimming in our pool and meeting you again at Pam’s service was a pleasure. Regards Cheryl & Maurie Keeling.
Sorry to hear of the passing of your wife , Jamie .
Sharni was an old friend from Havelock North High School. We were good friends for a number of years but we hadn’t seen each other for a long time as our lives went in different directions after leaving school. That said, Sharni was a key figure in my life during those pivotal teenage years, and my memories of her dimpled grin and cheeky giggle will stay with me forever.
Jamie and kids, I am so very sorry for your loss. Sharni will be irreplaceable but her love will live on through you all.
Our sincere condolences to Jamie and family. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Sharni was an amazing woman and will always be remembered with fondness. May she rest in peace now with her Lord and Saviour xx

We say goodbye to a truly beautiful woman whose life was a gift to so many.
She was someone who gave so much of herself to others, especially to babies, children, families, and people in her community who needed a helping hand. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity touched countless lives, often in ways she may never have fully realised.
She had a special way of making people feel cared for, supported, and never alone. Through her love and dedication, she helped bring comfort, hope, and brighter beginnings to so many families and little ones.
The impact of a person like Sharni cannot be measured by numbers. It lives on in the people she helped, the babies she cared for, the families she supported, and the memories held by everyone fortunate enough to have crossed her path.
Although she has left this world, the love she gave will continue to ripple through the community she served. Her legacy is not only in what she did, but in the countless lives that are better because she was here.
Rest peacefully, beautiful soul.
Thank you for every act of kindness, every helping hand, every baby cared for, and every person whose life you made a little easier.
You will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured. ❤️🕊️
Our deepest sympathy and prayers for comfort on the loss of Sharni. From the O’Halloran family at school x
